Terms of use

A purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use UsingOpen Studio on your own machines. You may install it on as many of your own computers as you like.

The price is $19 USD, one time. Payments are handled by Wise. There is no subscription, no renewal, and no card on file. Transfer fees charged by Wise or your bank are outside the $19.

After we verify your payment, we email a license key and download instructions to the address you send us with your transaction ID, normally within 24 hours. Each key allows ten downloads within 72 hours and is personal to you.

Updates are included while the project is actively maintained. There is no renewal price and no paid major-version upgrade planned.

You may use UsingOpen Studio for personal and commercial work, including client projects and products you sell.

Do not resell, redistribute, or share license keys or installers. Do not remove UsingOpen attribution where the app displays it. Do not use the app to break the law.

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent your local law allows, we make no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

We may update these terms as the product changes. The version in force is the one published on this page when you buy. Material changes will be noted in the release notes.
