Linux

The Linux builds are for x86_64 machines. ARM64 is not supported in this release.

AppImage

Download UsingOpen-Desktop-Linux.AppImage with your key, then:

chmod +x UsingOpen-Desktop-Linux.AppImage
./UsingOpen-Desktop-Linux.AppImage

If the AppImage refuses to start, install FUSE 2 (on Ubuntu 22.04+: sudo apt install libfuse2) or run the .deb instead.

Download UsingOpen-Desktop-Ubuntu.deb with your key, then:

sudo apt install ./UsingOpen-Desktop-Ubuntu.deb

apt pulls the dependencies and installs the app under /usr/lib/UsingOpen.

curl -fsSL https://usingopen.com/install.sh | bash

The script asks for your license key and verifies the download before installing.

sha256sum ~/Downloads/UsingOpen-Desktop-Linux.AppImage

Compare the result with the SHA-256 shown on the download page.
